CASE 2013 Fall Breakfast
Guest Speaker Mark Littlefield

CASE thanks our guest speaker, Mark Littlefield, who provided an update on elections covering Texas Constitutional Amendments, local, state and county races, and the new 10-1 Austin City Council structure, and what that means for MUDs.

Mark Littlefield is a political and public affairs consultant raised in Dallas, TX. Except for a short three-year sojourn to Puebla, Mexico to complete a masterís degree in International Business Relations at the Universidad de las Americas, Mark has lived in Austin since 1994.

Mark worked in many campaigns across Texas, but his first success as a campaign manager/ consultant occurred in 2002 when as a young UT law school student, he was able to defeat a two-term incumbent for a Texas state House seat.

That victory was quickly followed by more success in local municipal and state legislative campaigns in central Texas. Mark has managed, consulted, and provided data and polling services for over 100 campaigns. Markís most recent political endeavors have included the 2012-reelection campaigns of Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell and Council Member Mike Martinez.

Over the past decade, Mark has focused his consulting business on local Austin politics, serving as an advisor to elected officials, a political consultant for both candidates and single issue campaigns, a data and polling vendor, and as a public affairs consultant and lobbyist.

Mark is married to Jennifer Littlefield a native of Austin and an attorney. They have two children and live in southwest Austin.
